1996 Eagle Talon ESi 5spd Manual Barcelona Red Pearl (aka plum pearl\dark purple)

Basic Info:
Power windows, power door locks, power moon roof, power mirrors, cruise control, 97+ foglights, 140k miles, 5spd manual, CD 6 speaker sound system.

Exterior:
The exterior is average for a '96 Talon w\140k miles. The car has 97+ fogs, side skirts, door caps, and rear bumper. The rear bumper needs to be painted and so does a spot on the hatch where I was rear ended. The dent has been fixed, primered and sanded professionally. The front bumper is split and needs to be replaced.

Interior:
The interior is in good condition. There is one small cig burn on the passenger side seat. Some interior pieces have been painted metalic silver. The car has a pioneer CD player, with crossfire 4 channel amp, crossfire components up front, and Infiniti kappa 6x9 in the rear. The sunroof is aftermarket with a lifetime warranty.

The Good (mods):
Spec Stage III clutch, RRE clutch line, CAI & header (both wrapped in black header wrap), 2.5 test pipe, 2.5 mandrel catback exhuast, '03 Eclipse GT 17x7 rims, H&R springs, KYB GR-2 shocks, GS-T rear sway bar, Ingalls camber kit, black housing 95-96 headlamps, 97+ eclipse rear conversion, Crane valve springs, oversized valves, ported head, AFX UDP, ES motor mount bushings

The Bad:
Car has a salvage\rebuilt title because I was rearended by a girl in a corolla. She bent the rear bumper support beam and the spare tire well. The tire wells dents have been banged out and a spare tire will fit in there again and the rear bumper was replaced with a 97+ eclipse bumper and taillights. The engine needs a T-belt, T-belt tensioner, and a throw out bearing. The car will start but is undriveable due to the throw out bearing.

The car has about $1100 of performance stuff on it. The headgasket has already been replaced. The AC recharged, new PS pump, new alternator, new starter, new ps\ac tensioner(updated version), new PT lifters, new PT rocker arms, all new seals in the head. Car DOESNT leak or burn any oil. Car has a used tranny with about 75k miles on it (previous tranny owner was a 50year lady)

The sound system cost about $800
The suspension cost about $500
used tranny $400

Heh, kinda interesting that we both got rear ended by Corollas. I guess I got lucky, because my car didn't get totaled or anything. Frame rails are straight and solid because the rear bumper did its job. Good luck selling that.

BTW, we're not too far apart: Work in College Park and live in Pasadena.

I'm not sure I'd buy anything. Make your own decision.
