i need a 420a timming sprocket for sure,and if i cant get the old one off i may need a used crank in great shape STD size....

timing sprocket, as in cam gear? i'll give you mine for $15 shipped.

naw not the gears that go on the end of the cam's,the sprocket im talkin about goes on the crank shaft and behind the harmonic balancer,the timing belt runs from there up to the cam gears..

maybe your talkin about the samething but the book i have calls it a timing sprocket..

Crank sprocket, not the crank pully.

I have the part you need sitting on my workbench pm me if you want it.

it's the crank timing gear and you can get em brand new from Bob Kise for 12 bux...i know i had the same problem as you!!!!!!!!!

well i got one from extreme97nt for $15 shiped so no biggy.these dont really ever wear down or go bad do they?

do you know any where i can get a good crank cheap?

also if i fount a crank in avg-good shape with 40,000-100,000miles on it,would anything HAVE to be done to it for it to be useable?i ask becouse i already bought some Clevite 77 main and rod bearings from CV4 in STD size becouse back then i thought my crank was still in good shape.he said that if i needed to he would swap sizes with me,but i hate to ask ya know.
