okay it has come a time were as im am seriously considering parting with this car, id much much not rather part the car out, unless all of it could be parted at one point. the only problem known with the car at this point, is the car isnt getting any fire (power) to the coil pack, could be ecu, could be a short in wiring somewere, im just pretty much tired of working on it. but here we go

i meant trade and some cash unless the car is worth around what im asking.

and yea,i wouldve done it different if i had to do it all again, 99 style all leather, and went all out on the motor.

Did you at lest make sure you didn't switch the speed sensor plug with the coil pack plug?

Did you try checking for voltage at the harness that looks like it should have a relay on it?

Are you throwing any helpful codes?

There are a very limited number of things that will cause your symptoms. Parting it out is not the answer.

dino, im getting a camshaft pos sensor bank1 malfunction code, thats really the only helpful code, but stilll wouldnt justify why im not getting a 12volt reading from the pigtail, the harness that i thought should have a relay was rulled to be a atx relay. im mtx, so it doesnt apply. there is 12 volts going into the asd, but the wire from the asd to the coil is dead, i also checked the wires for the coil coming out the pcm, there also dead, i also checked the fusible link, and it was deemed good.

kirby, we should get togerhter sometime, i would like a helpful dsm hand in the final startup stages.

turn out that he blew the ECU by switching the coil pack connector with the speed sensor

the ECU was still partially working, giving error code etc
but the electronic driver which feed most of the voltage to the various sensors all around the car was fried

dude ill put money down that u fried your ecu. identical symptoms to my car troubles last year. pull the ecu and get it checked. It should only cost a couple of bucks to check it. Trust me!

dont ask me how, but the crank sensor pigtail, was in the camshaft posi sensor, and a couple of others werewrong. ill switch ecu's out this week.

I fried my ecu by swapping the speed sensor and coil pack cable too... the stock ecu sure dont like it!

didnt work, car forsale, dont have time or motivation anymore for it.
