having a problem with my map sensor and trying to figure it out.

i need a spare map sensor and if you have it, a voltage clamp or FCD for the map as well.

voltage clamp is the little box HRC sells with their kit. it clamps the map voltage so the ECU doesnt fuel cut when you boost. the HRC FCD is known to cut voltage to low sometimes though and i think that or a dead map is the culprit.

make one of those AOBE from parts from ratshack. I made one and it cost me maybe 5 dollars including the enclosure. Easy as fook to make and it allows you to tune the map sensor limit right where you want it according to voltage.

search for it. noooblette.

whoa cool, help me out man...give me some more info....i HATE wiring shit...seriously it gives me mor problems than anything i dont know why. im more mechanical i guess. whats a AOBE? whats your afc pressure setting say for the map? (top on the sensor check)

yea before you posted this i got it. the map itself isnt seeing 5 volts (from the power wire itself) so it might not be a FCD problem, its probably the wiring or the map sensor itself. i just got a new map and im going to throw it in and see what happens.
