i have a stocker with 151000 miles, and im in VA

How many miles on the built motor? I have a spare just sitting waiting for a rebuild.

I have a complete 2.0 ready to drop in your car.... ';-)

why don't i pay you money for that block???? and ill give you my block. i have about 135k on it. i'd have to do a compression check... but if i paid you money, it would be easy to pick up a low milaged neon block or someone's low milage rebuilt 2.0

I posted this up late last night when I was half awake, I didnt mention the probs. with the engine, but Dougie2 and Dave41079 said whoever gets it, is still gonna get a great deal.

Problems,
1.oil leak from back of block, dont know where.
2.slight tapping noise in the top of the head, everyone thinks its a lifter
3.Oil pan is already tapped for a oil return line, so you would have to do something with that.

Pros,
1. JE 8.8 Forged Low Compress. Pistons
2. Eagle Forged Rods
3. Clevite OS Bearings
4. Mellings Oil Pump
5. New Timing Belt

Has 86k on the engine, would like an engine around that, but if not oh well. I just dont want to sell my car with a crap engine to the new ppl. But I need to get something done fast

got any pics of the block? i'd like to see the motor with the head off.. if/when you have any.

Where are you located, my engine only has 78k (from a 96)i was going to be puling it out soon anyway. Let me know.

my motor has less then 42,000 miles on it, and since it is from an auto tranny car, it has never been revved past 6,200rpm :). i think i'm winning so far :)

this sucks......im in Bowling Geen Ky but dont have the time right now to fix the probs with the engine..my engine has 87,000 miles too like your lookin for......too bad i cant do this...

hey im still here, even though my motor has 150xxx miles, ive replaced many things and it has 55mm t/b, new sensors all around, new headgasket, newer head, udp, cam gears etc and 175-180 psi across the board. Only problem is a leaky rear main seal, which could easily be replaced with the new one i have when the motors are swapped ;-) Im in Radford Va, im sure you're no more than 5-10 hours away.

As apart of the deal, what all do I get? do I get the exhaust manifold? downpipe? anything like that? or did you keep your stock pieces to replace those?

how about we just switch our cars entirely? my car w/42,000 miles rims exhaust in good condition for your car? :) not likely but maybe...

i live in ohio...my stock has like 90K but got rebuilt stock at like 75K....not a problem driving to pick it up and and everything....plus it's has an auto tranny too...

Hey Red...dude its all yours if you want to trade man. No cash involved. Just come and trade me, perferable you can have the engine already out of the car and just put it in the bed of a trcuk and drive down here, simple swap and were cool. Hit me up
