does it come with the turbo? i know that may sound stupid but im just trying to clarify.

Seems pretty proprietary (sp) for that wastegate. Selling them packaged or what?

Posted by er0ckz, Jul-26-04 09:32 PM
can we choose what turbo we want?
50376, RE: Wicked turbo mani
Posted by JWoodley, Jul-27-04 04:20 AM
thats badass. however, im hoping its $799 for the package deal. is that a 2.5" or 3" downpipe?

If that was for the mani, DP, turbo and WG I would probably do it...but something tells me 800 bones is on;y gonna get the mani and DP x(
50382, RE: Wicked turbo mani
Posted by JWoodley, Jul-27-04 05:36 AM
for the extra $600 i could save by getting a different manifold, I could have lots of cool stuff. an $800 package deal is gonna get alot more attention.

i can attest to this manifold, ive driven his car and spool up is like nothin :D the fitment was TIGHT though...so be wary on that one

Looks nice. I chime in about piping size and turbo applications. How would this pricey bit limit your turbo selection? Just thinking...

This looks like something I wouldn't mind running one day. I'm too broke now though.

*rebuild in process...too much spent and still not fast enough*
GST Muffler
injen short ram intake
magnecore 8.5mm wires
EGR removal/blockoff
front/rear strut tower bars
GSX dual piston calipers

booya. this was when chris was down at my kasa working out some of his bugs. notice the tight fitment. IMO trying to get something larger like a 16g in there would be a PITA

am out of my mind or is his radiator different? It looks like the upper inlet is more centered. :shrug.

i e-mailed this guy and this turbo setup HAS NEVER been fitted in a 2gnt engine bay. i'd be wary before buying this "kit". it was desgiend for the neon cylinder head and has ONLY been tested in a neon engine bay. fitment for the 2gnt engine bay would be a problem i foresee with the wastegate coming off the top like that

Yeah I figured as much.

Nah. Just drill a hole in the hood for it to pop through.
That would be awesome. Like a shaker hood. It would rock back and forth as you drove and idled it, lol.

chris (the guy selling this kit) got another 2g dsm hood bump and got it molded into his hood to clear the manifold/keep the heat away

Why is he using a GST radiator? Seems like an NT radiator would work much better.

Oh man, I forgot I posted here. Sorry I have not replied

To many things to reply to

1. About my GST radiator, I had some wack fan on there before, the blades chopped up my stock radiator. My friend had his GST one laying around, so we poped it in there… I like it; it works better then a gs radiator.

2. THE PRICE… 800$ for the Manifold and the Down pipe ONLY. That’s it. Are you joking? A turbo and a waste gate to??? The turbo it self cost around 550$, waste gate 200$...so we be making the manifold for free!? Uhhh….lol…???

3. You cannot compare our manifold to those Hahn style, and Star style cast manifolds. You pay for what you get…We have an Equal Length, Tubular manifold, nothing like those other styles. That’s like saying; well I can get a t 25 turbo for 300 bux! Your going to charge me 800 for a t3/t4… it doesn’t make sense, the t3/t4 is a much bigger, and much better turbo. Our manifold outflows, and out performs those other manifolds. No one even sells this style manifold for this cheap. The only other people that I no, who make this style manifold is full-race www.full-race.com. They make one for a GST…It’s over a grand JUST FOR THE MANIFOLD. No one makes this style for the 420a but us.
We have tested if for 10,000 miles and it has held true.

4. Hood clearance, this style you see what a prototype…it cleared the hood fine, we just wanted to make a vent for heat. We re-made the manifold, and now have plenty of clearance, and IT DOES CLEAR THE STOCK RADITOR, AND STOCK FANS... As for turbo fitment, we will make the manifold so you can fit a 16g, or what turbo you need fitted. So far, we have done the t3, and 16g.

I think that clears it up…e-mail us, or check our new web site...
www.EnhancedMotorSports.com, it should be up today

the car hit the dyno 239 whp, 8 psi..dynoed at XS eng.,

Oh and our manifold will be ceramic coated
