49879, FS: Head and block..... Posted by Pushin420a, Jul-21-04 10:22 PM

We know the block is shitty with the brocken rod but it did drive here 300 miles so it cant be that fucked....plus broken shit was taken out before the trip...
Make me an offer on the Block complete, we need to get it out of here.
Also the head is fine make and offer on that too....thanks

What do you mean by broke shit was taken out before the trip, so it can't be that fucked? Is the motor really broken? Or is it still usable for another good amount of mileage?

The motor had snapped a rod....so they took it out and ran it on three cylinders...

When I pulled the motor apart the crank had minor scratches that can be easily machined out and the way the rod broke, the block doesnt have deep scratches maybe minor marks from the bearing sqeezing out. The bearing stayed on the rod the whole time hence not damaging the crank. I have a video for anyone deeply interested in this cheap rebuild core. Video shows whole bottom end apart.
