I have a 1998 Eclipse GS and I blew my heater core...I bought a heater core from a fellow 2gnt member for $25 shipped but it was off a 95 gs and it doesn't work....the piping and the bracket are different. Here are pics of what I need. I know that the cardomain sign covers the writing...the one in the top picture being covered says "1998 GS" and the one in the bottom picture being covered says "1995 GS" PLEASE HELP!!!! I NEED ASAP!!!!

Why is it so messy up on the top of the core...mine is only like that because it is cracked...is this from a parts car?

no it came out of my car i took it out for weight reduction no ac,ps, bumper surports etc. the part ur talking about is where there was some black stuff on there that was kind of sticky and has some junk on it, it didnt leak in my car when it was in there
