I have a short block sitting in my garage taking up space. I'm southwest of Houston (Needville actually).

It's the SOHC 420a out of a 95 neon. The motor has roughly about 60-70k miles on it. You can still see the thatch in the cylinder walls from the honing. My plan was to build it for my next 2GNT, but I think I'm gonna pass. One rod is bent, but they're easy to find. The car was upside down, so I'm guessing it had oil in the cylinder when they first cranked it after the wreck. I heard it run before I purchased it and it ran fine.

Other Neon parts: exhaust mani, intake mani, coil pack, fully assembled head (I think it's still layin around somewhere), injectors. Pretty much the complete motor, including PS pump.

I've even go the Neon manual tranny, but it's in San Antonio if anybody wants it.

just for your information, i shipped a block via DHL(airborne express) that was empty for 78 bucks.

I'm willing to ship it anywhere, as long as the buyer covers the cost. I just didn't know who to ship with. Did they have a crate for you, or what did you use to 'box it up' with? I've never shipped anything like this.
