Transmision, automatic:

Built a604 for the 420a - Raybestos Race Clutch Packs and Plates, Aluminum accumulator pins, Blue Plate Special gaskets and softparts, Fairbanks Shiftkit. Tranny has ~20K miles on it, only 1/2 that was while I was turbo'd.
This originally was a $3,000 tranny, but the OD clutch hub needs to be replaced. All upgraded parts are still in excellent condition, the friction materials still grab awesome, even at 18psi. Unfortunately, the gear hub on the OverDrive Clutch hub is sheared off and needs to be replaced to take advantage of this trans.
I was quoted $300 for repair.

Upgraded Solenoid Pack - Upgrade over stock, the entire unit is physically larger and better built. Does not make the racheting sound that the stock solenoid packs make when shifting gears - $250 new, ~20K miles on it - $50

Hughes 3k+ RPM High Stall Torque Convertor - Converter is brazed w/ a strengthened sprag, special cut stator, and full needle bearings front and rear. This will be the last torque convertor you will ever need. ~3500 miles on it, and only a 2-3 hard launches. $500 new, would like to get $300 for it

Trans Cooler - B&M trans cooler, avoid the #1 killer of the a604 - HEAT. $30

Autometer Transmission Temp Gauge - 2-1/6"/52mm, Ultra-Lite Series. Out of the box, but never used. Includes Gauge and sending unit, $45 new - $25

a604 tranny fluid pan - used but in excellent condition, i originally got it as an extra that i was going to tap for a drain plug but never did - $15

OEM Replacement Torque Convertor - this is a stock replacement, stock stall speed. ~15K miles on it, still worked perfect when removed - $50

If anyone is interested in having an excellent ATX setup, I would sell EVERYTHING above listed for the atx as a package for $600. Basically, buy the atx and the high stall torque convertor, and ill throw in the solenoid pack, cooler, trans temp gauge, stock convertor and spare pan for free.

NVT-350, 3.94 gearing - stock 2gNT/Avenger/Sebring 5spd tranny. Complete minus Bellhousing (diff, trans case and all trans "guts" included). I never used it, but was told it was fine except reverse had difficulties going into gear when cold - $75 local pick, otherwise $100 + shipping

Does the reverse switch and speedo sensor come with wiring pigtails?

The gauge is currently spoken for, if that changes, you are next in line.

To understand the benefits of a high-stall torque convertor, you should read this first

Simple terms, stall speed is the engine rpm that can be reached while you hold the brakes at the line. That allows an atx car to launch in its powerband (and allows turbo atx guys to be able to build boost on the line)

They do not, just the sensor themselves.

The updateded solenoid is larger in size than the early solenoid packs. Its better built (less prone to failure) and has quicker-reacting solenoids. It doesn't make the usual "racheting" sound of the stock solenoid packs because of the different style solenoids.

It will work on evey year's atx.

the blue piece on the bottom is NOT part of the shift know.
