I'm looking for some funds for my next project.

Head is ported, polished and milled for approximately 10.5:1 compression with factory MLS head gasket.

Head has stock valves and retainers with Crower valve springs.

Untuned and with the cam timing off, and on stock exhayst piping (too small for the set up) I put 146hp to the wheels with this head and Crower 2 cams.

I'd start the price at $500 and take offers.

What's the interest and how soon?

The head is still on my car.

not bad, too bad i have no money right now, i might in a month or two anyways, if it is milled to 10.5/1 comp, what happens when i put 10.5/ comp pistons in it? anyways you got those number just with the head and stage 2 cams? kinda off topic but were the stage 2's street drivable? thanks man

it *should* raise your compression up to 11.4:1 or pretty close to that. were your pistons a dome top style?? with the milling of the head you also lose valve to piston clearance.

And i have met mike many times and he's a cool guy.. he won't steer ya wrong man.

my car will sound like, bumbabumbubavrooooooooooooooomrooooooooahhhhhhhhhhhhh, kishhhhhh

Yeah you'd be in the 11.5:1 neighborhood.

I would definately check valve clearances before, which shouldn't be an issue since the vlave reliefs on the 10.5:1 are the same size as on the stockers. The only big issue might be piston to dome clearance. But 10.5:1 isn't an obscenely bigger dome.

Now that I think of it the head was actually run on 10.5:1 internals, I've only shaved a hair off it since then, so it shouldn't be an issue.

i'm also interested, i have the money and the motor apart right now. does this head come with the cams in it? and also how well would it work with 8.6:1 compression with a turbo? please let me know i am going to be buying all the parts for my car within the next couple days.

No, cams are not included. Just ported/milled head with stock valves and Crower valve springs.

Using this head on low comp internals will put you right back up around stock compression. (which is where I'd want to be anyway) You could try double head gasket or take the MLS gasket apart and use a portion of it to drop compression back down. But I like higher comp and turbo anyway.

I'm going to get my stock head cleaned up, put in a set of valve springs, get my gaskets and tear this one off I should have it off and ready to go in 1.5-2 weeks.
