if you can give me some information on the throttlebody id be interested.... yes im a newbie but we all start off that way. what do i need besides what your selling to hook it up. the other guy asked if it had sensors, so does that mean the stock throttlebody sensors wont work? what size is the stock throttle body? whats different between this one and the "jeep throttle body" that i see all over this site?

Ok, here is the info on this throttle body. It's a stock TB that is bored 55mm completely through and the work is done by AFX (Howell Automotive). The regular stock TB opening is 52mm and tapers in at the throttle plate. Exact dimensions are still debateable but this one is a fair bit larger and is completely straight through.
There are no sensors on this. To install all you need to do is remove the sensors from your stock TB and put them on this one. They bolt right up.
The Jeep TB requires modifications for you to make it work. There is a write up on here somewhere. It is 60mm but does take a bit of work to be able to use it and you would still need to modify the intake manifold so that the openings matched. The AFX tb bolts up with no modifications required.

I am looking for the transmission roll bracket. It is the bracket that bolts to the tranny next to the speedo sensor, and to the motor mount along the fire wall. Let me know if you have it and how much you want for it.

It's something like $30 brand new. Just get it from the dealer.

Update - Right now everything is still available.
The solid MM prevents the motor from moving too much so that more power is transferred to the wheels instead of rocking the motor. It does increase the amount of vibration felt in the cabin.

Let me know how much you are looking for. Chances are I'd have you ship it to ERT directly.

If you can get one from the dealer for $30 I will buy it from you. I checked at Dodge and Mitsu dealers and found nothing under $90-100. Are you sure you know what bracket I am talking about? I had to buy the front one from a dealer, and it was $80. The front bracket is probably half the size and complexity of the rear.

Please start your own thread for this. It's off-topic. BTW, call Bob Kise and ask for the bracket. He'll probably have the best price.

I take it that means that you don't have it. I don't think you ever responded.

No I don't have that ... I needed it to mount my 3.55 trans back in the car. Please read the original post. "I have most other INTERNAL trans parts".

I don't have pics right now ... I will post them later. There is abosolutely nothing wrong with the TB. It's in great shape.

would u take 100 shipped for the TB? :)

42458, RE: FS - Tranny parts, 55mm TB, Solid MM Posted by Avenger, May-01-04 07:02 PM
Sorry I can't go that low. That would be nearly 1/3 the original price. The price it currently is would be the lowest I'm going to go.
