Summit sells the calipers fro 117.00 why is the kit so expensive? vr-4 rotors are 13" right?
I am curious what is so special about these

the brand, and the fact that the company has been around a long time and is very reputable. by the way the kit is $1300 new and this kit is hardly used.

I have never seen 4 piston calipers for under 300 each. Even 2 piston calipers don't go for 117 each, used or new, so i don't know what you're talking about STAR TURBO TALON.

This is an excellent deal and if i still had my eclipse i would be all over this. If i end up buying the project ecilpse, I'll email you to see if you still have these.

well i guess you should look more into summit....I dont doubt this is a great kit i just wanted to know what was good about it. If i had the need for better fronts i would buy it but my car is just a daily driver.

Oh and my mistake sonny the calipers summit sells a dyna lite 2 piston calipers for 117.00...look em up if you still want to deny reality....there you go this is why this kit is so high....4 pistons.

I don't care what people have found cheaper or what they think about my price, if you don't like it don't buy it. this is a very good deal and they are still for sale. I will go as low as $550 shipped, if no-one on this board wants them then i'll put them on ebay.

I am not slamming anyone sale....I just wanted to know what was better about them. I like the wildwood design...very nice and the fact theyhave been around for years gives one security that replacement parts are available. Out of curiousity what brake pads do you order or can you buy them locally? This is my biggest worry about buying a big brake kit, how do you get replacement parts/pads?

sorry and a few more questions...what kind of improvement did you see with these? What size rim is reqd to use these? Most importantly do you have pictures....I like the idea of 4 piston calipers.

i read in another thread that CK said that brake upgrades dont do you any good at all... so i cant justify the money.... :-( LMAO! :thumbsup

not sure where you buy replacement pads. they require a 17" wheel. they are definately better than stock and do not worp like the stock rotors do.

Damn... If I didn't just get GSX Calipers and Rotors, I'd be all over this.
