38405, FS: Removable Rear Strut Tower Bar Posted by Bestwestranger, Mar-17-04 01:17 PM
I am testing to see how many people would be interested in a REMOVABLE rear strut tower bar. It will be easy to operate, but strong and adjustable at the same time. I will be building a prototype in the next few weeks for the 1G's, and the 2&3G's will follow soon after. What I need to know is how many of you would be interested in something like this? I don't want to make a bunch up front and end up using them for boat anchors and door props. Also, what would be a good price?
Thanks for your input!

I'd have to have a better idea of what they would look like, but i might be interested if the price was right (under $30 i'd say). I have a huge speaker box (JL 12" W7 H.O. enclosure) that's too high for the hatch lid to go over so I kinda doubt that i'd be able to use it anyway.

The removable bars will be more than $30. If you want one custom made to fit over your speaker box, I can probably do that too...but for the $30 price it probably won't be super cool looking...just a basic bar.

I'd definitely need pictures before I invested more than $30 into something I already have...

Chris is a good guy here in Phoenix. I can vouch for his being legit. Let's wait and see what he comes up with...
