Hey guys, Just bought some parts off my friend's 2g, and I'm posting this to see if there is any interest in my friend's Eclipse, otherwise it's going on ebay.

1995 White GST (clean title)
5 spd w/ 48,000 miles (not actual) on the title
Stock T-25 set-up (minimum shaft play, and spins freely)
Injen Intake
Greddy SP Catback (It was mine, in perfect condition but it has overspray paint on the tip)
Greddy Type S BOV
It also comes with a 97-99 Street Fighter Front End

What's wrong
The car ran low on oil, so it is knocking. My friend definately thinks it's the bottom end or the rod bearing.

The Power Door Locks and Horn doesn't work

It currently has 50 weight oil in it, and the car still starts, runs, and drives. With the 50 weight, it doesn't knock and/or you can't hear it.

It has 1g seats in it, because he sold the race seats and 1g stock wheels.

Valve cover has a slight leak from overtightening. (edit)

nah i am keeping it until i can find a complete stock 97-99
kit. After that I will just sell it along with the rest of my
body kit.

how does oil stop a rod from nocking? are you positive that its a rod knock?

The guy who looked at the motor said it was the rod bearings,

The mechanic recommeded that we add thicker oil, or 50w to stop the knocking temporarily and it has. Beyond that I have no clue

You think it can make it to nyc ? I am thinking of getting a amtrack out there . Let me know .

Remy, I don't want to make any promises, But I promise you that the car starts perfectly now and we can beat it up and down my street. However, you have to understand the the rod bearings or shot or something is wrong with the rods themselves, so it can go tomorrow or after you get back to NY, I really don't know but let me know soon as I have other offers else where. It's 200 bucks cheaper for 2gnt members.
