Hello everyone,
I know I posted this earlier this year, but things happen, and sorry to anyone (Chris if you are still interested you have priority). The kit is almost completely off the car now (need to get the fpr and fuel pump out of there), there is around 15k miles on the turbo, it is in good condition. The IC looks good, the pipes could be cleaned (greesy hands and chrome don't go together).
The kit will come with everything that Star shipped with it, plus the Missing Link and Tial Wastegate (deltagate not included). If all goes well with a transaction I could ship as soon as Friday (UPS is closed on Wednesday and Thurday).
I say: $2k shipped anywhere in the US, because for boxes and shipping it is going to cost me around $100 since I of course thru the boxes away, and I don't have that popcorn stuff just laying around there waiting for me to pack some stuff. If I don't sell this here by friday, I am putting it up on eBay. If you want to use something like paypal or escro dot com, you cover those fees... A cashiers check or money order mailed is fine for me! I am in so cal, so if a so cal guy were to want this, we'll work out a deal so we don't need to ship this and save you some money.
Send me Email at dhinksfilenetcom, but please if you are interested post here first, so others don't think they got ahold of me first.
Thanks.

Because I just bought an '04 Silverado, so I am selling the Eclipse. I post dated a check for 2 weeks for the 2k down :) I told him I was going to need 2 weeks to get the money in the bank. 2k down and $300 a month for 5 years, not to shabby. 0% interest, and he took a shit load of money off the price of the truck.

Oh yeah, and buy the bike damn it!!! I just got new pipes on my bike on friday, saw Jay Leno's jet bike at the rock store on Sunday too... I think it melted my fender when he was pulling away. I was the only one stupid enough to park next to him... Like I knew the difference.

What's even more strange is that my car is for sale because I'm probably buying my dads 01 Silverado. If I don't have it by Jan 12th then that means I'm getting the bike instead. Charcoal silver :P

Good luck with selling the kit.

Hey Danny, just a shot here in the dark, but would u be willing to take payments in installments? And is 2 grand the final price? Well, just curious. If the offer gets too tempting, I might take it off ur hands.

Mikey call me at 909 223 6528, and we'll talk, I am sure you are good for the money, and I am guessing that if you have at least 500 to start out with, I'll take payments from you... And we can negotiate price as well.

Well the reason that I offered Mikey this deal is cause I know him personally and know where he lives >)
Sorry if you are out of state, I wouldn't want to run this type of a deal.

Haha, yeah there are also things called credit cards where you pay as much or as little as you want whenever you want. Why not just send him $2000 + 3%(paypal fee) using your credit cards?

YAY for Jeff!!!
The only one I would let go on a payment plan would be Mikey, cause he lives around the corner... But yeah, use a credit card you slackers!

Hehe yeah true. Well, anyway I think its better if u sell it to someone else first Danny. I have the 500 down, but my financial status is kinda iffy, so I don't really wanna risk it right now. But if let's say by next year around March and its still for sale... ;)

i sent you mail but it keeps getting returned saying you are over your quota, could i get some pics e-mailed to me too. also is it an aftermarket decent sounding blow off valve?
31460, RE: FS: Star Stage 2 in search for a good home:
Posted by 98RsT, Dec-30-03 05:12 AM
The blow off valve is cool, it's the HKS that comes with the kit, but you can definatly hear it; sounds like paaaaaasssshhhhhhhtttt more than a wooosh. But when other guys hear it, they never want to race afterwards... Bitches!
Email me at dhinksfilenetcom . The other addy is my old one, and I no longer live at home, so I can only check it, and can't send from it because I am off the verizon network at my new place.
I'll snap some pics tomorrow morning... I'll psuedo bolt it back in so you can see what it looks like in the engine bay. The only thing that is going to need to change is the Air Filter, this one has taken some heat damage, cause I put it right up on the turbo, and not on the extension that shipped with the kit. The reason I did that was cause I put the catch can where the filter would sit with the extension.

I'll take it if the deal goes bad. I have the money for it now.

great, can't wait to see the pics, does it need anything to finish the kit or is every thing there, also, any gauges or upgraded items on the kit?
31471, RE: FS: Star Stage 2 in search for a good home:
Posted by 98RsT, Dec-30-03 07:06 AM
All it needs to complete it is the Air Filter, I'll ship the one I have on it, but it isn't that great. I forgot the filter that is on it is brand new, probibly 200 miles on it or so, but it isn't that great. IT would be who of you to get a good filter, I just got that one, cause nothing was open on Sunday when I needed it.
The only gauge I am shipping with it is the Boost gauge that came with the kit, which I never used. I promised my A-Pillar gauges to Kaiser a year back, and he is finally getting them tomorrow.
Above what shipped, I have a Tial wastegate that is better than the deltagate (supposevly, but I never used the delta so I don't know first hand). I'll send all the hose I used for the fpr and all, so you don't have to make the 10 runs down to AutoZone like I did.

The only blemish the entire kit has is:
I had to weld another O2 sesor bung on downpipe because the one that shipped with the kit welded on was not good at all... But I'll email you a pic of what the down pipe looks like. The good thing about it is it resides under that car, so you can't see it from the engine bay.
The Chrome on the pipes are all good, never used anything harsh to clean em, only windex. If they do start getting dirty because of the area you live in, you can always just use oven cleaner on them.
The fmic is in the same condition as when I got it from the factory, there are about half a dozen fins that are bent, but you can't see them when it is on the car, and it doesn't effect the performance negativly.

I am sure you have seen the pics of the complete kits in other ads, same thing, just this one has the downpipe blemish (not a big deal imho, but I'll let you be the judge of that.)
