i have a design for the hinges, i am gonna make them for my car cause i have the tools now, i needed them for work anyway. i am going to test it on my car and make it direct bolt on, it would be a better design than other, i plan on putting a bearing in it to make the door go up and down easier, i would charge $400 for everything, post thoughts and opinions as well as anyone interested and i will start making them.

I might be interested if they were a true bolt on, no cutting no welding. No painting.

im pretty sure the other kit uses some type of shock to help with the weigh of the door. also, i dont want anything rattling. other than that, im pretty sure you could sell some. where are you located?

i payed 1200, and i understand why it cost so much.
the kit its self is amazing and hard to duplicate.
but if you could make a kit that cheap...

If they are high quality, don't leak or rattle, and are totally bolt on I would have $400 waiting :)

Keep us posted and send me info if they turn out nice.

what they ^^^ all said...no leaks or rattles. High quality. No cutting or fabrication. And as long as my doors don't fall off I would be very interested for 400 bucks...otherwise I'll wait and pay a more for the VLS system...The option to open OEM style kicks ass IMO

the only thing i haven't figured out is how to make them still open oem style, well i did, but it would be very difficult, yeah i plan to have one made within the next 2 weeks hopefully with the holidays and all. i will keep everyone posted, also i do plan at one time to make it all motorized too, but one step at a time.
