2809, FS: Eclipse Spyder GST Posted by Jen, Nov-25-02 04:24 AM
We're considering selling the Spyder for a SUV now that Baby is on the way. It was a very very hard decision, but convertible with no trunk space and baby just don't match...
Here are the details: - '97 with 64,000 miles (only about 4k miles on new block) - Silver Pearl with black top - All power options - brand new Mitsubishi block and crank assembly with 1 year/12k miles warranty. Have all the paperwork from Mitsu - Interior is gray leather with black accents, in excellent condition. Absolutely no scratches or tears or wrinkles in leather - Exterior is in very good condition (just 2 little door dings). Top has no fadings/scratches/tears of any kind - Has always been garaged - Clean title, no accidents
It will come with: - 18" Konig Monsoons with fairly new tires, at least 70% left - 10-disk CD changer - Convertible boot cover - Clear bumper markers and chrome Mitsu emblem - Maybe brand new upper intercooler pipe with 1g BOV (not on the car yet) and Autometer boost gauge
We have never had any kinds of problems with the car (except for crankwalk which was taken care of by new block and crank). It runs great and gets very good gas milage.
For more info or pics, e-mail me at my_talon@hotmail.com or just reply here...
We haven't really set our mind on a price yet and will consider any reasonable offers, within limits of course.

Heh, I guess even 5 DSMs don't make up for a 4-door.
We figured that with having a baby in the back we could never put the top down anyways so what's the point of having a convertible. We also tested a stroller and there's no way it will fit in the trunk along with a bunch of other baby gear. If it sells, great, if it doesn't we'll swap the suspension and exhaust from the NT and it will be the baby car then :) We'll see.
Baby is great. I had an ultrasound and even the doctor was surprised at how active it was. In December I will go in for a 3-D ultrasound and hopefully they can say whether it will be a boy or a girl :)

Hrmmm... you need a 4 door. For some reason, I have a strange feeling that you have at least in passing considered a GVR-4, being DSM buffs... -=B-=

No GVR-4. I find those very very ugly :) It's got to be something nice. I'm more thinking in lines of a Montero Sport :P
