make an offer on it if you want to pick up where i left off. this is my own prototype. you'll get just about everything i had. here are links to two pictures of the stuff. best i could get on my crappy camera.

-4 '02 GSXR TBs modified
-420a lower runner section to mess with
-custom Devcon alumi-cast TB adapter and bolts.
-Custom Keihin velocity stacks
-AIC and reverse geared TPS. (plug and play)
-Distrubution block and various vacuum stuff
-2 6" square K&N filters for a possible airbox

just some specs on it for you guys. these are 42mm GSXR throttle bodies with the secondary throttle plate system bypassed. i designed and fabricated a ball bearing progressive cam actuation system for the throttle itself. the idea was to have controll over partial throttle activation for driveability and still be able to get WOT on full pedal pressure. it works really nice. ummm, the adapter plate i created allows you to bolt it to your stock 420a lower runner section(you'll get another lower runner section too). i created it so that the round ports of the throttle bodies mold into the square ports of the lower runners for free flow without turbulence. it's casted out of an aluminum resin from Devcon. structurally stable up to 500F(better than that of plastic intake manifolds ) The TPS is geared for reverse activation and the IAC is in the stock TB section so it's a simple plug and play setup. I have the MAP sensor mounting section too from the upper 420a plenum it's just not in the picture(you will get it) the velocity stacks a true Keihin stacks from a GSXR750 race bike. they promote smooth airflow into the throttle bodies and are known to increase lowend torque on any vehicle. i think that's it but if you have any other question feel free to ask.

i invested ~$500 in parts and hardware plus my labor. it'll take a little tinkering to get it to where i was with it and get it running. it's like 90% together. just a few vaccum lines and stuff are missing as i needed some of the 90 degree fittings for my car i did have it running, just had no safc to tune the idle well enough. you'd need an safc to tune it on the car and have to modify your throttle cable bracket to fit. i can throw in a bunch of other tidbits/bolts/ brackets/etc that i think would help out too if you want it. also have a vacuum canister to help solve the lack of vacuum to the MAP too. toss that in as well.

you can post here or email me at jaded_silver@hotmail.com

just let me know.

I was actually thinking about doing this for my car. However, how much air do we need? I think that would be overkill but would be a kickass setup for turbo. What kind of $$$$ are you looking for?

best time so far 14.3 @ 101.1mph

500 bucks...holy ish!

I figure I'll have about 150 at the most invested in mine...but I just plan on welding togeter my own lower section...your set up looks bad ass with that adaptor...I bet that cost a pretty penny.

somebody buy this and get it tuned so I can learn!

me? I already got them off of ebay for like 40 or 50 can't really remember and I got the '98 '99 ones with out the dual throttle plates too. The upper stuff I'm goona make out of stainless I can order through work for around 50 bucks from McMaster Carr schedual 10 elbows and tee's. Same with the lower, but I don't think I'll make that out of stainless. I'll model it up in 3D CAD tonight and unvail my design soon and see what you guys think of it.:thumbsup

Yea, i kinda went overboard with a few things to get it done. i'll lay it out cost wise here.

-TB's i got off ebay for $110 but that included the secondary electronic systems and fuel rail/injectors from the gsxr600.
-vvelocity stacks were $48
-k&n filters wer $50
-upper plenum and lower runners i got from varioius ASOG members for like $50
-throttle body for parts was $23 off ebay
-extra TPS and AIC was $18 off ebay
-the hardware added up REAL fast. all fasterners and material is either stainless, adonized aluminum, alloy steel, or teflon. various springs, ball bearings, nuts, bolts. aluminum stock, etc came to about $60 when all said and done :(
-then there was the adapter. the material used is Devcons aluminum resin. theres exactly three pounds of that stuff there. a three puunds container of it with harndener lists over $100. the shit isn't cheap but is the shit when it comes to casting complaex molds like this. i use it all the time and i always try to find the best deals on the stuff. very few distributors for it.

so there's about $450 right there and i'm sure i'm forgetting a few things here and there :(

i'd sack it all for like $150 plus like 10-20 to ship it depending where you are located.

thanks for looking guys!!! i appreciate it.
