I'm looking for reasonably priced pistons & rods, if it's possible. I spun #1 & #4 rod bearings, drove a couple hundred miles, cracked off a 14.88 @ 95.0, drove another couple hundred miles, then pulled the pan and saw the glitter in the oil. I was going to do a cheap rebuild, but I figured 'there's only 4 cylinders, how expensive could it be'. SHIT! Prices for this stuff is outrageous. It was cheaper to build my V8 with Eagle I-Beam rods & Keith Black 12:1 pistons than it is for 4 eagle rods & 4 JE stock CR pistons. All 8 KB Silv-O-Lite dome pistons were $205. Don't you guys think we're getting high grossed? Any input is appreciated (websites, parts houses, etc).
