Hey, how much do you think I could get out of this car??

I'll say 8-10 grand for it. Nice looking ride.

In his defense, eventhough he did say it rudely, a lot of those prices do look inflated.

I am not trying in any way to start an argument, but you did post this on an eclipse site so I am giving my truthful opinion.

Altezza tail lights (not even the middle included)= $250? I've never seen the left and right (of those altezzas) go for for more than 100 shipped.

My custom short shifter (cut stock 1.5") cost me $5 at the local welder shop. Maybe he did more to his?

stock CF hood = $600? Wow that sucks if he really paid that. Got mine for 300. Maybe he's including shipping too?

short ram (generic?) intake = 150? Damn...that's how much a new AEM CAI would cost. Being that you didn't include a brand, i can't see how it would cost that much.

Buddy club side skirts = 400? Don't know too much about body kits, but that sounds expensive, unless you're including the paint job too.

Pace setter cat-back exhaust = $300? The most I ever saw for one of those was $180, but maybe its a nicer version? Is it even all stainless steel?

Hooked Up? I have a lot of these things for half the price you list them for. Not trying to be mean, once again, but these prices seem quite inflated. You did post on an eclipse site so I must speak my true opinion. Sorry if I'm being harsh.

I bought everything brand new. And had them installed and painted by pros. Maybe they did charge me too much. But it's too late now :( I was a newb when I did all this stuff.

You got owned. Those prices are rediculous. I thought you just marked them up cause you're selling your car on ebay. If you really paid that much, I'm gonna open up an aftermarket shop. I didn't realize people still pay 200% over retail. Damn! I could be making some serious money.

But the kit and wing loook sweet and has a nice paint job. I like the car:thumbsup. You could prolly get 8K at the most, being that its a NA.

Well it was about 1 1/2 2 years ago when I bought most of it.

DO NOT BUY THIS CAR. It was my best friends car. He sold it because it had a lot of problems. Those pictures are photoshopped and are of MY FRIENDS HOUSE. What you don't know is that while the car was in transit from my friend to the current owner. It was severly damaged, parts were stolen from under the hood, and the door was crushed in. The soundsystem was stolen (AFAIK). Ask for REAL pictures of the car, because I guarantee you that those pictures on the auction do NOT accurately portray it.

Also, how did he get the side decals back on after doing the body work and repainting the car?

The car is slow, and there are NUMEROUS small things wrong with it (the body kit is slightly crooked, the door hits the sideskirts on both sides whenever it's opened so the paint chipped away, etc).

DO NOT BUY THAT CAR, or even appreciate it.

oh and just so you know, that auction was 100% copied from my friends (he didn't change a single word until the bottom when he added the paintjob stuff). Even the PICTURES are the same that my friend used (that's HIS FUCKING HOUSE in the background) The prices WERE greatly inflated. The current owner of the car does NOT have it sponsored and did NOT add any of those things to the car "1 to 1 1/2 years ago" he bought it like that.

nah, the shifter is just a stock cut shifter, hell I'm the one who cut it for him (and then one of our other friends lit up a welder and welded the 2 pieces back with about a 2" section missing)

carfax only comes out on insurance reported accidents, so as long as you didn't report it to your car insurance it wont' show up, and if you would like, I'll take a picture of myself and my car standing in front of the same curb in front of the same house if you want... I'll even hold up a sign that says "you are a fag for trying to lie"

i've seen that eclipse on ebay before also. and they were the same exact pictures i have them on my computer i save pictures of badass eclipses from ebay and other sites.

Yeah, I used the exact pcitures he had, but everything look just like it. Never knew posting a car being sold could end up like this lol!

Hey, Well I guess this is the post you guys were waiting for.

I was the previous owner of that Eclipse before him, and I sold it to him. Yes those are the pictures I took and that is exactly how the car looked when it was given to him. I can vouge for everything he's saying, however I don't know anything about any of these other claims by other people besides him.
