i am swapping from atx to mtx and need everything to do it. i called many salvage yards in my area and none of them have a wrecked 95-99 na eclipse witha working trans. so does any1 know of any salvage yards that you have bought parts from for ur car or just have happen to see an eclipse sittin there. prefereble somewhere close to the lehigh valley pa area. thanks.

search for a neon manual tranny, try neons.org alwasy atleast 1 on there

If you do the swap you need more than the tranny, you also need the ECU, the pedals, hydraulics, shifter, linkage or whatever etc... If the j-yards in your area have a manual tranny 2g, you can still use these even if the tranny is bad. (I'm auto, i've only done a auto-manual swap in a civic, so if i'm wrong on some of the parts don't flame me)

there is a place near me that has quite a few 2G's. it's near cranberry, PA if you want to do a mapqest to see about how far it would be. i can get you the phone # if you want. they have a goldmine sitting there, but they are a little high with their prices. i bought an engine from them when my timing belt went.
