I am getting ready to put new rod bearings in my motor and would like to install a crank scraper while I am down there. Would anyone have one laying around or know the best place to get one.

Cheaper ones can be found on eBay, sometimes.
However it is trademarked or copyrighted or what not by Ishihara Johnson.
And he is pretty serious about fakes.
You can order them from Ishihara Johnson.

He has two, a steel one and an teflon one, is the teflon worth the extra 100$

If you dont want to double check clearances and fitment, yes.
It technically works better for the Teflon, but how much better I do not have a answer for.

The teflon is supposed to keep the oil better, but you'll want to drop the oilpan to collect any shavings... I'm sure worth it for those professional racers, but I'm not one and the normal non-teflon works just fine. IJ's crankscrapers are very high quality, and not exactly a big-ticket item... I'd just get it from IJ :)
