I'll be in Rochester for a year. Looking for a 2g (420a or 4g63) that is relatively stock for the sake of durability. I will not be bringing any of my tools with me, nor will I have time to work on a car.

Prefer something that won't need a timing belt change, tires, or brakes for another 20k+.

Preferably doesn't look like a POS. No body kits or obnoxious exhaust.

Will settle for an auto if manual not available. Not looking for a keeper, as I will be selling it in exactly 1 year.

Bonus points for someone who can deliver it to the Detroit airport on my arrival, hehe.

The RS is staying in cali until my return :)

Well I will give you an early welcome. I'm in Port Huron Michigan which is about an hour from Rochester. That is the Blue Water Bridge in my sig pic which connects too Canada. Good luck with the 2g hunt. Detroit is motor city, everyone is hunting for good 2g's and parts all the time.

Are you familar with Roseville, MI the 10 mile and Harper area. If so, when I was up there last March visting my sister, grandmother and aunt. There was a red 2g talon few blocks from her house, sitting in someone's yard had no tags so I assume it was for sale the time.

Do a search on CL metro detroit area, I bet you'll find 2g's cheap. Or might have to travel abit further north from detroit.

Dsm's is kinda big in Mi, there's dsm graveyard which is from Mi, couple other shops based around DSM's in Mi. Forget their names but take the phone book when you there you'll see. They are around (2g's) forsale, you just have to look. I gave you a heads up on one.

If you're into car audio and Harley stuff, be sure to checkout the Gibraltor trade center in Mt Clemens, MI. it's off I75.

Correct. DSM Graveyard. There's a shop off of Woodward owned by a guy known as MadDsm on other sites that has lots of good shit. Speaking of Woodward...ever heard of Woodward dream cruise? I hope so. Every August. If not the biggest, one of the biggest cruises across the country. 8 lanes total. 4 lanes going both ways. Everything from Ferrari Lambo to riced out Civics and Geo Metros. And anything in between. Keep an eye out for that.

I hadn't even thought about the shootout. That would be awesome actually, but it depends on what my schedule is like that month.

Well, all I can tell you is I've never had an issue with it, besides minor things like keeping charge pipes on. And I drove it to the shootout a couple of times. And I daily drove it about 90 miles a day for a bit.

Right now I'm working on getting an alternator in and the new exhaust, and charge pipe set up finished, among other little things to get ready to sell.

If you are truly interested, let me know ASAP and I'll put my work into overdrive. Let me know what you are looking to spend. I know what I want for it it. But everyone knows what you want to get out of a car and what it's really worth can be far apart.

thats very gracious of you Terry. but I just bought a 98 rs tuesday night. 2700. now i just to find some stock tails because it haas chrome altezzas. tried to get a talon-would have been my first, but the guy was iffy.
