114812, FS: Clutch Masters Stage 4 Modular clutch Posted by pghsebring, May-25-09 09:05 PM
Well, i had to pull my trans to sell my quaife to star turbo talon, so obviously the clutch is out now too. This thing was bought brand new by me, and run on my NA car, never with turbo or nitrous. It is just about broken in, and i took the car apart and was building it back up with the 2.6L, GT35R, etc, but never finished it, so it has never seen more than stock HP. It was never beat on or abused, i planned on using it with my high HP build. It has WAY less than 10k miles on it, i just can't remember exactly how many. It was never run at the track, i never "dropped" the clutch pedal - i had stock axles the whole time and wasn't looking to damage them either.
For anyone "scared" or such an agressive clutch (its the 4 puck version), it really isn't that bad, unless you're a little girl or something. I could drive a car with a clutch like that all day and night, and after a week, you get good enough that you forget its not a stock clutch. Just don't let retards drive your car for the first time.
Anyways, they're $650 shipped new (cheapest i can find anywhere) and like $715 from ClutchMasters. I'm asking $500 shipped or best offer - you could install this on your high HP monster tomorrow, its ready to go, needs no more breaking in. Comes with the throw out bearing.
PM me.
PS. This is the modular, all in one clutch, comes with the flywheel built in, etc. All you do is slide it in the transmission and screw the 4 bolts into it and you're good to go. No screwing around with alignment or whatnot.
PPS. Next comes the 2.6L stroker motor...time for it to find a new home...
