I have for sale a used 1997 manual transmission ECU/PCM/Computer. I will take $80 shipped for it. It's all boxed up and ready to go! It's especially a good idea to have a spare if you plan to get Howell's AFX computer. This way you don't have down time and you can swap from the AFX to the stocker for gas mileage and seasonal issues. PM me if interested.

Actually the A/FX gives you better mileage than the stock ECU, there is no real reason other than for the core to have an extra lying around :p Not to poke holes in your selling pitch :P

Ask DR1665. He ran one of their ECUs for a few years and was pulling well over 400+ miles to a tank.

400 miles per tank? try 500+. i get 400 to a tank with dsm 450's, that is as long as i stay out of boost. Anyway, 80 for an ecu is a good price imo.

How the hell are you getting 400+ or even 500+ miles...I'm not even close to that...maybe I get 350 to 370 never 400.

well, acouple of things could be, i run the entire tank out to get my 500+ miles. atleast 15 gallons anyway, and thats pretty much all hwy. with mixed hwy and city on about 14 gallons i get around 400 miles. and I always use premium. ALWAYS.

This is a good buy. I had one of these in my old 97'. Wish I took it out before I sold the car. Oh well's..I got a 98 now anyway lol.
