This is a FDM (Fused Deposition Molding) rapid prototype that I had made about a year ago, made out of ABS plastic. I designed it to keep the factory switches and replace the vent openings with a bezel for the Zietronix wideband o2 display. I had two made, one is in my car fully painted and assembled and the other is now for sale. Designed and engineered in Solidworks.

The part needs to be sanded, primed and painted. When the part is built in the FDM machine it is built in tiny layers. These layers have to be sanded down to get a perfectly smooth surface to prime and paint. As in most aftermarket parts there is a little work needed to make it work with your application perfectly.

For the Zietronix screen to work you have to remove the pc board from the aluminum case it comes in and bolt it to the back of the bezel as you see in the pics. You will have to CAREFULLY drill 4 holes in the pc board (again, in the pics) This work takes thought and planning but I have made it very simple and any one on this board that has done mods to their car should have the right touch to do it correctly.

You will loose the side button function on the display. (see pics)

If all of this sound like to much work but you still want the part you can send my your display and I will do all the work for you to fit the pc board to the bezel. For a few more $$$ or course.

And finally the price. 160.00shipped, yep it’s kind of a lot but there are only two like this that exist, it is strong abs plastic and is as close to factory looking and fitting that you will get. Lastly, that is what is cost me to have it made.
