I been thinking since the beginning of 2008, and I am really not sure if I should sell it or not! (built up 'love' between my eclipse and I through out the past 8 yrs of driving it, fixing it, and modding it!) You guys know what i mean right?

Well, I am getting married soon, and I need the cash. I am still debating if I should sell it or not.

But here I will throw it out and let fate decide it for me.
I am looking for $10,000 for it.

I got the eclipse as 2nd handed (I am the 2nd owner) since 2000.
The car is 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS bright red with 1999 body style.
The actual mileage for the car is 46K miles on the chassis. I used mainly for within college campus and now for work 2 miles commute. Never drove in winter except once or twice for startup.

What went into the cars are too long to list, but it goes from GSX Caliper, axle, 4 new hubs, Greddy Exhaust, rims, leather sport seats, black/gray interior, with aluminum clusters. fully dynamat insulation (very solid like acura/lexus), HID, full sound system, blue LED guages interior light, to fully rebuilt engine with JE, Eagle forged, bored, Stage 3 clutch, Evo 16G turbo, FMIC, WBO2, Greddy electric EGT, fuel pressure, A/F ratio, Boost gauge, Megaquirt: fuel & spark, on and on and on.
I kept everything in record. I put in a total of $14,9xx in parts not including labor cost or the cost of the eclipse itself into this eclipse!

If you are serious and want some pictures, let me know. I took picture of EVERY SINGLE mod or fix I did to the car in record! (I put them into my digital photo frame and view them daily) "crazy me"

but if anyone is to pay that much for a 2G eclipse (im not saying its not worth it, just realistically, you wont see it) They will want to see a long list of mods....

some of you "mods" you listed are vauge.. like axles..um stock or DSS or what u know? GL on the sale , and it seems to be a really nice rie, but, even tho its got that much $$ in it, and really worth somewhere around what your asking, you prolly wont see it...market sux, and no 1 wants to pay for sumthing modded..bastards are cheap lol..Gl on the sale tho!!

That is exactly what I thought about it too.
I thought of parting it out and revert it back to stock eclipse.
But the amount of work I put into it, it hurts to undo them!

No, it is not OEM, it is the Spearco Bucket seats with custom brackets that can move like the OEM style.

I spent way too much time on this car, and yeah, seriously, I drove it around town yesterday and I already back in love with it! LOL. (only drove it twice over the winter, so this is my first real driving of it for 4 months)

God damn it, why can't I just have more money so I don't have to sell my baby!

Just the engine itself worth $4K, so no way it will be $4K max dude. lol.

But I see your point, people don't like modded cars, but my car is very nice in terms of modding. no wires, modded like stock, .. just look very professional. (at least to my taste lol)

seriously, I really want to sell it at the same time, I really don't want to sell it! (especially after the 15 mins drive of the car yesterday)

BTW, it does 15 PSI daily, and I did 20-22PSI like 3 times (which scare the shit out of me! too fast) no blow by, no oil leak, nothing (since everything is rebuilt) lol.

Nice list of mods. I would recommend getting the car dyno'd and posting how much power the car is putting out at 20psi. That would definitely help sell the car. If your putting out about 350hp, I could see someone giving you at least $7,500 which isn't bad. It might not be as much as you want but that's the reality with modifying any car, you never get back the money you put into it. Good luck on the sale.

4K MAX? WTH? bone stock elipses around here bring in 5k. The great gas mileage 4 cylinders are hot right now even with the ecomnomy sucking and find one of these cars with that low actual mileage is almost unheard of. List around buddy you won't sell it on this board, because we, are the cheapskates who buy all the used parts just to keep our cars running as is. good luck man.

I think the price is a bit on the high side, but as someone who just spent most of March swapping my built engine with someone who had a stocker, it's a LOT of work. If you still care, it's going to be hard to tear into things, but just know that getting top dollar will require you to sell some of the performance items separately, Gil.
