Mirrors are brand spankin new. I bought them off of ebay for $45 shipped a few years ago but decided to get the regular black ones instead.

Do the mirrors fit in the adapter plates? I bought a set of egay about a year ago and they would not fit the plates.....

I just double checked to make sure and they fit fine. I also noticed that the mirror lens is clear just in case you were wondering. I know there are some that come with a blue mirror lens.

The universal wastegate holds 5 psi. I believe you can adjust it to open sooner since the arm of the wastegate has threading. Here is a pic that shows how much the arm is threaded.

That's f-ed up calling him out like that infront of everyone when you knew what kind of turbo you were buying.

Everyone already knows that xs power turbos are crap, the old batches anyway. If you can't accept that, call ssautochrome. I spent about 3 hours talking to their sales rep on yahoo. Alot of the newer ones are holding up, especially the tdo(4/5) turbos like the evo III 16g knock-offs...

Ha ha, It don't matter if it's XS Power or HRC - Brand New turbo's don't come with cracks, son. I have my opinions, but we'll see what FedEx says.

I suppose you have a right to be pissed about recieving a broken turbo but they come shipped broken from china 9 times out of 10. They're built to self destruct. The castings are garbage, they use inferior bearings, some of which are not compatible with garrett rebuild kits due to them having problems with the shafts breaking. Because of that, they made the shafts thicker than normal. As you can see, the casting is garbage. I could probably beat on my garrett housing all day with a hammer and only have dings and scratches to show for it. A floppy 2g t25 would have lasted ALOT longer than one of those.

Buyer beware. Be careful where you cheap out.


We need a sticky about xspower turbos in the forced induction/nitrous section. Get on it! People need to stop buying this shit. For every ssautoshit success story i've read, there are 20-30 "this is garbage/blew my engine/blew up the turbo under 3k miles/internal wastegate stuck open/blah,blah,blah" stories.

Glue it back together and sell it for $200 on ebay. That's what everyone else does with those piles.
