Ishara-Johnson (or however you spell it) crankscraper, paid $50 for it, want $25 shipped.

Brand New OEM Spark Plug Wires, paid $55 for them, want $30 shipped.

MSD wires for our motor have about 40 ohms of resistance, these factory wires have about 4000 ohms to bring the secondary voltage out of the range for causing interference to the cars computers and radio.

Must you use 2 oil pan gaskets with the scraper?

If you prep the surfaces real good, you can use Permatex Right Stuff (that ez-cheese looking RTV) between the scraper and the block. Then a new gasket between the scraper and the pan.

Clean the surfaces.

RTV the scraper and bolt it up, you have a short amount of time to position the scraper and rotate the crank to make sure nothing actually touches.

Let set (only takes a few minutes).

Remove bolts.

Bolt Oil pan up with gasket, torque to spec.

Okay, I wonder if our General Motors GMS would work. Its like a silicone kind of that we use on our motors to seal off lower intake gaskets and shit.

I will let you tomorrow morning if I want this or not, but I think I do!
