Is it the Viper 5500 Responder SST or the Viper 160XVL Venom SST.
Also I have never had remote start but just a guess that they are only for the auto tranny.

Bump!! , SST 5900 the latest one out. and you shouldnt have any problem with a stick shift, just dont leave it in gear.
