I was wondering what you guys would factor a 1998 Eclipse GS with 87k would generally actually sell for in the northeastern ohio area. i know kbb.com but was wondering what u guys think

if my "stuff" adds anything here it is, i dont expect it to really change the price it sells for so much tho...

I go off Kbb to get an idea then work it from there. My neighbor is selling his 95 gs with a fresh coat of paint. for 6800 I think he is high. very clean car but not 6800 clean.

Anyone who buys his car for that much is on crack and then some...our cars don't sell for too much unless they're super clean and some teenager's parents are buying it for them lol.

Ding Ding Ding!

Thats why my car will be washed/waxed/detailed and have my bronze wheels on it when I sell it this time next year.

High school kids love our cars which explains why I have my car (I got it 6 years ago when I was in high school).

I would say anywhere between 4.5-5k will be a nice sell.

Thanks guys, looks like i may be selling it, i have quite a bit of problems with it so i plan on taking whatever i think i can get for it, and just taking like $1600 off due to all the problems, then when i list it ill put the list of all the problems and cost of parts and labor. I took my car in to get the suspension checked and they told me "Your front end is pretty much totaled" i dont know if i feel like putting 1600 into this car, but im hoping someone else might. Im looking into getting a second opinion at Mitsubishi... also im still looking into options of better places to get the parts, my friend has 3 GST's, 2 wrecked (rant into a wall, and one into a tree) and one that just is a parts car be bought on ebay for like $1,000. So he'd prolly sell me the entire front end suspension for a few hundred.

We'll see tho.
