102686, WTB: Heater core ASAP -must be willing/able to ship IMMEDIATELY after payment Posted by jose23, Jan-13-07 04:12 PM
I need a FULLY functional heater core for a 95-99 eclipse. It will be going on a 98 rs non turbo but I believe that a heater core from ANY 2g dsm will work (turbo too).
Also, I need it FAST so the seller has to be able to ship IMMEDIATELY upon receiving payment via Paypal (don't want to mail payment as it would take too much time). Shipping would have to be done via either usps overnight express (fedex overnight would work too) or via priority mail, depending on the price difference in the two (want to weigh my options). Of course, a local buy would be ideal. And if you don't accept Paypal for some reason, I can provide PLENTY of references if you're willing to ship first or via c.o.d (again, this is only because I need the part fast and can't wait until you receive my payment via regular mail before you ship).
If anyone can help me out, please include two totals; one for the part shipped via OVERNIGHT, and another total for the part shipped via PRIORITY MAIL. I will then let you know which way I want to go as far as shipping goes. Again, you would have to be able to ship IMMEDIATELY after payment is received (hopefully we can get everything done tomorrow and someone can ship out THIS Monday). Oh, and I am in Wichita, KS (zip code 67210 ). Thanks for the time.

P.S. an email will probably get a faster response from me, too. I use that @HOTMAIL.COM place. Just put the following in front of the address: AESOJ23
P.S.S hopefully that email address thing isn't too confusing :)

Yeah, forgot about MLKJ day. Give me a price and I'll let you know.
By the way, if you don't have the dash removed already, it probably won't be worth it to you to pull the heater core out (it's a real bish to get to).

If you pull the two hoses off of it on the firewall and connect them together, you can at least drive the car until you get one. Just an idea.

Thanks for all the replies guys but we decided to go with a new heater core. After seeing what's involved in replacing it (taking the ENTIRE dash apart and getting those two hoses off in that little ass, cramped up engine bay), there's no way that I'm taking any chances with a used unit. I don't want to EVER have to go through that ish again.
