Throwing this out there because I could use the money, and I don't have time nor the money for it anymore. The interest and passion just isn't there like it once was and priorities in life have changed.
1997 Eclipse GS - 5spd manual - Roughly 60k miles on motor, over 100k on chassis/trans. I can get more accurate numbers if needed. The car has been kept out of the elements (winter months) in my parents barn and more recently in the garage of my home. The car is I would say 97% rust free. There are some chips, scratches, paints getting old/faded in spots, but still an eye catcher when driven. Each year in the Spring it fires right up and is driven occasionally during the warmer seasons and has made several trips to the DSM Shootout in Ohio without a hiccup. The car was obviously built for a high HP turbocharged setup and it's ready for one. I never got that far. The car has performed tremendously for me over the past 8-9 years it has been built. A lot of time, money, and effort was put into building this car and it has been a tremendous learning experience understanding the ins and outs of it.
For a feeler to test the waters, I'm going to start by asking 4250 OBO, I will be negotiable, but also know I don't have to sell it, so no lowball offers, or payment BS. Money talks, bullshit walks. If interested, send me a PM.

The short block was professionally built by VT Competition and Engine development out of Lansing, MI. The block was hot tanked, and balanced/blueprinted. The head was built by ERT out of Chicago, IL.
