Evulflea, you're gonna be here this weekend? Or did you mean you're gonna be at the carshow on the 24th?

Tech is usually open the whole time, but plan on being there by at least 6pm. It takes about 30 minutes to get inspected and get your run card.

Errr, I must have mis-read. Thought it was the carshow on Saturday the 24th sign-in . I'll be there around 16-17th depending on how I can handle a 30 hour drive.:P

This will be my first time at the track and meet. is there somewhere specific we are going to meet at?...should i pop on my 14's on all 4's or just the font? at what time is everyone meeting? oh and by the way i'll also be going to the HOT IMPORT NIGHTS MEET

i have no idea. im just gonna drive there and park next to and eclipse :) looks like theres more info on the socal dsm forum too.

why dont you guys meet near the raceway? like at a parking lot or whatnot? so you guys can drive in together etc etc...

Well, what we did before was meet up at the Jack in the Box before the track. I was late the second time, but I was still able to spot them at tech. Most of the time we park near the stands already. Just park at the usual spot again guys. Man, I wish I could go... :-(

is anybody up for meeting at the jack in the box, so that we can all drive up together, the jack in the box is on the corner of cherry and valley blvd..next to arco and carls jr. if so how's 5-6pm sound?

IMO, it's too much effort to stop at a restaurant on the way to the track. I do always scan the Jack in Crack and CJ's parking lot for DSM's just in case, but the best place to meet is the pits.

We WILL all be parked (racers anyways) in the pits together. The pits are open and anyone (nonracers) can come hang out or park in there.

In case there is a line at the tech inspection, its better to just get checked in before all the hondas show up.

who are the guys in orange county area. maybe we could meet up and drive out? my buddy with a 97 talon and i are going to drive out from
orange villa park area.

damn, I just realized something. I got a license renewal from the DMV and I sent in the check in early april, but they still didn't sent it to me yet. my license right now says 'exp may 5 2003'!!! Do you think they are gonna stick that to me, or let me slide??? Hopefully it'll arrive in the mail today or tomorrow morning. damn DMV x(

Clay, sorry we bailed before we could find you. Now, where the hell was everyone else? All_Show, Jen and I met there, and we talked to Clay when he showed up later, but we never saw the rest of you. If we knew almost everyone was gonna flake, we wouldn't have wasted the money to go.

I got in around 6 cause it just so packed, and I didn't even get to run cause they reached their 500 car limit. I came with my bro and mainly hung out at the stands but from 6 to 11pm i didn't see one single 2gnt run the track.

i was there from 3:30 to almost 8:00 and didnt see anyone but eclipsegamer . then when i was done looking , tired and ready to go home. i saw all your guys cars on the way out x)

i got there at 6pm...sucks cause i took out my subs and swapped my 14s on for nothing..i saw fusion's car in the spectators parking lot..if i'm not mistaken (it has the 2gnt sticker on it right?), but yeah i didnt see anyone, i was hanging out by the drag strip..it sure was a waste of money

my license didn't come in yet. I wasn't gonna go unless I could race. dmv blows

Its cool EclipzeGamer. Half of So-Cal must of showed up at cali yesterday. I ended up watching the races till 9pm. Anyone else see that white del-sol run? man it was sick! Oh yeah i also saw a yellow 2gnt with a turbo kit, octane front and cf hood. Tommyboy?

Hell im going again on the 31st, this time im gonna get there early so i can get a tech card.

Oh yeah, the car with the 2gnt sticker was my car, actually two one on each side.

why dont we ever run at LACR? i know that the track itself blows (high elevation and windy)... but you can really work on you 60s there and the ets are not that far off (like .50s)...

it is a bit of a drive, but on weds nights you can get like 20 runs in... hell on a crowded sat night.. i can still pull out like 5-10 runs...

every time i get to fontana, its just too damn crowded. ive been there for whole days where ive only got like 3-5runs..

just a thought :)

sorry I ddint make it to this one. Cars not done. But CV'd is right my times suck up at palmdale but i do get runs in, wens its wide open. Get there at 5 and you can start running at 5:30 with fresh new sticky stuff on the track }( Besides tech isnt that strict there. It would be bad ass to represent there. Theres only one group that I see go there in a mass. 2GNT would represent way better though. The drive back aint so bad either. About 1 hour to get there from southern Cali. 80 miles.

Sorry, my manifold started leaking BAD during my test runs at 15psi. I'm sitting at RRE right now waiting for them to redo the poor thing. They looked at it funny and said it was too thin already and will just keep warping :( x(

hey why not? lets get a group together and head over therer, better than going to fontana and just spectating. but we need to meet somewhere and really go and represent together!! anybody wanna help set it up?

i would definitely run at lacr.. but my car is barely running as is... and i need some time to get her running properly...

and dan, im sure your leak isnt as bad as my "leak".. haha..
