I should have my car ready to go by April 5th for the next show on my list. Piedmont Dragway. Spring Slamboree. There's a show April 13th at Farmington that is looking to have some good coverage. Speedoptions and urbanracer.com are supposed to be there. That seems pretty good for NC. The scene has been about some BS. Seems like it may be picking up. Speedoptions usually doesn't cover whack stuff. Last year, piedmont was pretty big. Hopefully some of you guys will come up/down and compete with me and chill. No offense, but I am tired of seeing the same people from show to show. I have some good competition out there. I just wish I had more. Makes it more fun. The "new look" is gonna be revealed at the next show too. I'm ready to get it back. :) If I get pics b4 then, I'll probably post them.

How much was your hood and where did you get it? I know its after the fact, but some shop in greensboro can get those hoods for 450 shipped. Also how much did it cost you to get those skirts fitted and painted, cuz if it is at a good price ill drive out there to get mine done (after I move into my apt and get my stuff together)

the hood- I got from prostreetonline.com. It was 500, with pins but shipping got me some. My car was scheduled for bodywork for xmas tho and they BS'd me. So I got the skirts and got the hood instead. I decided against pins b/c they rust over time. Replacing them over and over would just make the holes give out. The latch is secure.
The sides- I'm not sure. I paid 700 for sides, front redone, hood, and interior dye. Damn. Everytime I spend money- it adds up to like $1,000. I need to go ahead and boost. :P

The show is on Sunday at Farmington. I am sure.

To find good shows that draw a usual large crowd- check www.dropjawmag.com. They have a calendar with a lot of NC shows. That's where I check. Either that or the word travels and I throw everything together in a day or 2. :7

I got 1st place dsm 89-99 wild. The reasoning was that they saw me as borderline wild. ummmm. ok? There were a few others moved from mild to wild. They said the judges could make the final call. The girl with the blue one with white flames registered wild. She said that she did it b/c she didn't wanna compete against anyone. So, she was kinda mad that I won, but happy that she beat some others. It was cool, but Sunday shows really suck. Don't get that extra day to rest up b4 the week. I'm friggin zapped. x(

Congrats on ur win. It was a good show this year there were alot more eclipse there then i thought would be. I couldnt beleave how packed it was this year i was at the one last year and it seemed like there was about half as many people. There was also alot of good racing going on and one of my friends won his drag class with his prelude.

I think the total # of entries was 350. Probably 400 cars in the park counting the guys who were just racing only. Nice turnout. Fun day. The girl biker knocked off a 4.9 and almost lost it. That was a sick run tho. Really quick. It was kewl meeting some of you guys. I met about 4-5 people from on here and dsmtuners. :thumbsup

Yeah it was a great show i just felt bad not having my car there. I should have it done in a week or so hopefully. Atleast all my friends were hitting good times my friend adam got a 9.6 in his lude, mark in the older CRX got 7.9 i think and casey in the newer si got a 8.0. I was must impressed by the SOHC neon with a home made turbo kit and aem cam gear hitting 8.7 on street tires. Also by the way steeve ur car looks bad ass in person. I realy like the interior it just goes together with the silver real good.:thumbsup
