CoDSM's Summer Kick-Off Meet @ Redrocks! (Saturday, 5/29, 11AM)

Where: Red Rocks Park Lower North Parking Lot, Redrocks
When: Saturday - May 29, 2010
Time: 11AM
Start time for cruise: 1PM and will take around 1 hour to complete
Plan: Meet and Greet with BBQ and a Cruise

Feel free to invite friends and post the event on other forums. As many of you know, there is plenty of parking! EDIT: WE WILL NOT BE BBQING AT REDROCKS. Keep an eye out for updates and feel free to PM me with any concerns or comments.

CoDSM still gets together? I haven't heard much from them in years.

Right, I don't believe CoDSM has had a successful meet in some time. This will be a great chance to get the DSM enthusiasts from around Denver and the Front Range back together! I know they're out there...

UPDATE: I reconfirmed the location and we are most definitely allowed to meet in the Lower North Lot. Also, I have included some general rules for Redrocks. As long as we follow these, the event should go very well.



I am looking for some small "tailgate style" gas/propane grills to cook the burgers and dogs on. If you have one, and are willing to bring it, please PM me ASAP. Sadly we cannot use charcoal.

No worries, we'll make sure to schedule the next one on a Sunday afternoon for all of those guys who can't make it on a Saturday. But, we should have a small group of DSMs at the I-225 and Tamarac Sonic Meet this upcoming Sunday evening ~8PM if you'd like to join us!

UPDATE: The time of the event has changed to 10AM-12PM due to an early concert that Saturday! The event staff need more time to set up parking then originally accounted for.

UPDATE: Alright everyone, we are only 24 hours away from the big day! The weather forecast for the morning is looking great and I'm working on the cruise route. This month's cruise will be geared toward seeing the greater Denver area. We will begin with a "mountain" section and end up in the downtown area. A large group in-between the buildings should sound pretty cool.

The cruise will have several "checkpoints" in order to avoid separation. I will have a good number of labeled maps/directions for everyone to follow in case you do get separated from the main group. You should be able to catch-up while we get gas or chat in a parking lot for a few min. If anyone has recommendations please PM me by 7:00PM tonight so I can try and get them worked into the cruise.

One last thing. I have severely overlooked the food aspect of this meet! We may have quite a bit of cars. I will be bringing burgers and dogs but may run out quickly. It'll have to be on a first come-first serve basis. If you happen to have any sides/chips that you are willing to share, please do. I will make sure our end of June meet has a better food environment!
