96, Launching... Posted by ExcessTalonESi, Dec-09-01 01:46 PM
Hey guys. I purchased a HRC Stage 2 kit and am currently waiting for it to come in. Anyway, I was just curious how you would launch with that kit? I've heard that it spools to full boost at 2700 rpms (is that correct?). I know how to launch N/A. I just want to know what I do with this kit. Thank in advance!!!!

well once you get decent tires on start at like 3500 rpms and dump the clutch and nail the gas if you bog go up if you spin let the throttle out some. you don't wanna go to high cause first gear is mad easy to spin.

I wouldn't dump the clutch, slip it out control the wheel spin, you just want a little spin and take off. Don't dump the clutch you;ll either spin or wheel hop like a mad man or bog the engine. fine a good rpm and slip the clutch out as you ride the gas down.
