Went to the track tonight. I didn't blow anything up.

Ran a best of 14.288@97.8
Ran a 14.298@101

first run was a 14.5@100

Didn't have a single 60' time under 2.4

Third run, smoked first, missed second, ran a 15.9@100

last run was a 14.8@96.8 - i missed two gears.

All at 10PSI or lower.

keep practicing the launch, your car has the mph to run faster 1/4 mile times my friend :)

I know :-)

If i could get the launch down, it'd be good from high 13's for sure.

101 trap speed? Damn that is good. What type of 60' are you trying to get? I know I suck ass at launching just like you. :) I get a 2.3-2.4 60' when I should be looking at 2.0 and 1.9 60's. Either way you'd be giving me a run for my money. :)

2.0 60 ft's on street tires seem to be about the best our Front drives can do. With slicks probably 1.8

Yeah, Greg managed a 1.9 with slicks. Thats turbocharged running high 12's though. On street tires in my n/t I pulled a 2.1 60ft'er.

I have pulled a 2.2 bt I mostly get 2.3's. I got a 2.309 on my 14.3 run.

All you bastards with front wheel drive cars that have lower 60' times make me even more embarrased! :( I'm a worse driver than I thought. :)

No, you just make much more low end torque than we do, which contributes to your ability to spin your tires off the line.

I have a new goal. The at the shop that pulled my motor just bought a 98 GST. He ran a 13.8 @ 108mph, so now i have to put him in his place. No more 10PSI .. I'll try 15 }>
