Hi guys Im new to this forum but not new to dsm..I have a question..My buddy wants to race me with his car and i dont want to lose. I have a 99eclipse w/star kit stage 2..He has a 93 civic hatch with b16a2 motor w/t3/t4 turbo set at 10 psi tuned with hondata and pretty much all the bolt ons..he is claiming he has 260 to the wheels..who will win

It depends on a lot of things. Not the least of which is, who is a better driver. You can have all the performance parts in the world; but it donesn't mean jack if you can't drive. All I would tell you is go to the track and find out.

we are both pretty good drivers..What do you think which car would be faster with both good drivers..

Civic will probably win.

Power to Weight is not in your favor.

He is going to beat you pretty good if he can hook.

So you dont think i will win because he wants to race for 200 bucks..I never seen his car run but he said he does 13.3 on the truck could this be truth...

He makes more power than you do (by at least 50 hp) and is a heck of a lot lighter.

Yeah man. You'll lose your money if you race him. With the motor swap by itself he would probably beat you by at least a car length or two. The fact that he's also turbo, has a much lighter car, and is properly tuned will mean a bad ass beating if you race him. A lot of people like to bash those old school hondas and integras but they're pretty quick especially when they have the v-tec motors.

Well we raced this weekend just for fun no money..And let me tell you holly shit that fucking honda is fast he beat me by at least 8 cars..2nd time we raced i used my 50 shot of nitrous and he still beat me by 3 cars and pulling..He is running 10lbs of boost..After me he raced a new mustang GT and pulled about 2-3cars on him..That car is really fast i dont know what i need to do to my dsm to beat him any suggestions...

Build your motor, get a better fuel setup, get tuned.
