No this is NOT an April Fools joke! I wanted to post this tomorrow but others were at the track and I wanted to be sure that I told you guys about it before them.

Yup, new set-up (MSnS and new clutch). Got all of 2 runs in but it was the best 2 run day I've had. Got to New England Dragway around 11:00. Just in time to see them shut down the track for 1 1/2hours. Finally lined up for first run. Took it very easy on the new clutch set-up because I hadn't really worked it yet. Around a 3k launch; progressive. No above 7k shifts (I wanted to be sure that I got a run in). Checked the ticker tape at the shack; 14.1! Already beat the 14.332 without even trying!

Next run I got on the clutch a little bit harder. A little smoke in the water but not full out. Run her and she felt pretty good. Get the ticker tape;

No shit? Into the 13's already! With a triple digit trap? What a little MSnS can do to make your day. She pulls right through the line. Seems like no leveling off like before. I'm pretty stoked about this one

Heh heh, yeah Jason, I didn't realize that was an order ;-). I'm kinda surprised myself. As Luke can attest, sometimes the times take you by surprise. I figured I'd get there but not quite like that (and Remy, I was suppoosed to hit Island but because of the weather I turned around and went to NED. Go figger).

As for the weight redux, I'm right around 2500. So I've lost about 250ish.

I may be done with this phase now. I'm kinda ready to move on. What I have now is what I would consider a daily driver. I can get in her at a moments' notice and drive 500 miles comfortably. Got my radio, sunroof, power windows/locks etc and don't have to worry about any set-up, or choice of gas, to drive. I'm really anxious to move on to the final phase of heavy weight redux. Not sure yet, kind of letting things sit for a little bit. But I do want to point out that you CAN have a DD that's NA and pretty quick.

Xmasta, I know what you are refering to :thumbsup , but honestly, you and others on this site have helped immensely in my post researching on this site. What may seem like little nit pick things, are well worth the conversations that these threads produce. It's kinda like doing a round table discussion and then making a final decision with the group input.

And if there's any doubt about MSnS, NA or not, use it.

Yup, I dynoed her. But had a little problem with the printer at the dyno. It was screwed up for about three weeks. They gave me a black and white of the best run but I only got one pick of it. Now they can't seem to find it. I'll post the pick;

But I do have a lesser run (173ish?) that I am putting on the same grid as the AF/X ECU so that we can see the difference between the two set-ups (MSnS vs AF/X ECU). I have the info I just need to download the program to see it.

Mark I'm Impressed. Good job man. I have been having a slight few probs with my car as of late. I got hit in a parking lot and she's sitting at a body shop right now and should be done by tuesday. But then I am leaving on Thursday for California for a month for training (Army). I'm trying to get everything done before the end of July because that's when we leave for Iraq for a year.

I'm planning on launching at 3500 and shifting at 7700. I'm running on 245/40 17's. With very similar setups I think I can put her into the 13's as well. I still need to P&P one of my spare intake's.

Again Mark Good job. I really want to run you someday. Someday I'll have a Naturally Aspirated 2g running 10's (hehehe my little secret project).
