Since your not turboed I wouldn't recommend it. I think I remember reading a thread on another forum about someone doing this with a nt and it ran horribly.

Hmm lost my post? Musta hit the wrong button.
Nope won't help you. The only thing it will do is screw up your O2 sensor. I tried it on the dyno various times and it didn't help at all and I'm pretty heavily modded.

Hey speaking of howell ecu...is there any why to tell if I actually got one...I bought it off dsmtrader a while back of some local kid, he came and dropped it off to me so I trusted him a little more.
I just don't want to find out where the redline hits I don't want to blow my motor, is there a better way to tell...I mean it does pull harder and better but I want to be sure.

Hmm....I just checked mine and could not find any obvious indicators (extra numbers or stickers or anything). I popped the cover and can read nothing in there. I guess just performance and data logging may be able to tell you. The obvious would be (as you alluded to) checking the redline.
