The fucking jerks wouldnt let me run with slicks and I didnt have my street rims/tires with me. The event I went to wasnt alowing any slicks or anything like that, what kind of events are these? Fucking stupid ones I tell ya. I told them they should have said that on thier flier or website and they told me that not many people use slicks now anyway, lol. Fucking idiots. So i wasted an hour and a half drive for some fuckball to me tell me that I couldnt run because no one uses those kind of tires anymore, haha. So I asked him if I could put my street tires on the front and my slicks on the rear and the fucko still said no. Anyway, end of rant. Sorry I dont have #'s for this beast yet, but I hope to go soon again.

Cuz I didnt feel like bringing my jack with me, or an air compressor, so I drove up with the slicks on.

Sucks for you dude, bet next time you'll go with your jack stand and air compressor, huh :P
I take it this wasn't an NHRA sanctioned track, was it? It really makes no sense that they don't let you run slicks at the track, unless it's a no slicks without helmet/cage/harness/etc. rule :shrug

Its IHRA and it was just the event that wasnt alowing it.

were you trying to run a test and tune or actually enter the event? Either way, that makes more sense, should have taken a black marker and drew tread onto your slicks then been like "They're DOT legal, I just painted Hoosier on the side so it'd look sweet in the shows ;)

Good thing it didn't rain, I'm sure that would handled awesome @ 20psi with just a slight glazing of h2o on the ground.
