Well, I posted a couple of days ago about my last runs at Lebanon Valley Dragway. Long night and problems with their equipment. They ended up giving me my first run slip for my runs that day. Nothing on my second run. Well I just called them and they told me that, of course, they saved the info! I asked her to look at my second run and she came back with;

14.90@94.?? with a 2.0 launch

(honestly didn't hear the last of it because I was stuck on the 14 number, heh, heh). So broke 15 but I pick up the slip probably June 9th when one of the clubs I'm in does track day. I'll post all the numbers then. But then again, I may drop that number on June 9th . :cheers

Thanks for the good words Chris. I appreciate that coming from you. The car def. has more. I'm thinking of trying to get a little extra out of it with the afc, also. I have been waiting for my Uego to come in and it finally has. I suspect that I will be contacting you at some point for some pointers.

At least the 2nd fastest that I know of. There was one other person who hit a 14 sec time, and his car was REALLY built up, but I don't know if he got faster than a 14.90.


Good job, I'll get there some day :) It's just a matter of when I get a good run and when more parts get on the car.

Awesome work. On drag radials you might be able to get 1 or 2 tenths better with a crazy low 60' time.

420aT-nthewerks, I really appreciate your excitement! Pretty cool to be the fastest posted run in the country this year. But I do not believe it is the fastest on record. I know I still can take off at least .2 more. And I haven't even gotten into the heavy lightening process (which I won't do. It remains my daily driver). Plus there are other "things" that I haven't put to use. I haven't even put on the S-AFC yet. :shrug

Unfortunately, it looks like Howell may let me down a little here. It appears that my AF/X unit reverted to stock. I talked to Gary at Howell and he insists that there is nothing wrong with the ECU. That puts me in a quandry because I NEED those extra RPM's and I can't come up with a reason that I am at stock numbers again.

Oh well, it's all part of the fun.

Haha. I care. This is the fastest all motor 2GNT right now, but billymack set a 14.6 a few years back. That car has been parted out and sold, but I guess 14.5 is something for Mark and Todd to shoot for, now, eh? :wary

Well, went to the track Wednesday. I had to pick up my 14.90 slip, in the rain and the storms but somehow it wasn't raining like that at the track.

First run; 14.845 @ 92.85 No kidding? Huh.

Second run; 14.836 @ 93.64 Really? Cool!

Third run; 14.757 @ 93.83 Holy crap. With a 2.259 launch. I got a shot a 14.6's or better!

And then the spinkling started and the track went down for about 45 minutes. After that, the track was crap.

But check it out, I had no idea I could even get close to that number. It actually looks like I could break into the 14.5's.

Huh. go figger.

Do you have any slips? What did you change between this time and last? 14.9 with a 2.0 60ft, and a 14.7 with a 2.25. That just seems weird. If you would of cut a 2.0 again you would have been around a 14.3-14.4

Slips? Lol, yeah I got all kinds of slips. I'll tell you what. I was #43 on June 14th (yeah, nice number). You can call Lebanon Valley Dragway in Lebanon, NY and they can give the runs. I could try to take a pic on my camera and send it to someone's E-mail but the slips are pretty light. My wife actually got the run on video (with her digital camera) but you can't see the lights from the stands. She had no zoom or anything.

What did I change? I went to the dyno and upped my hp by 3 (yeah, not much) but I upped my torque by 6 to 13 across the range. I strongly suspect that that is where I pulled the power from. What is weird is that the track was generally running slow. Other people were complaining that they could not get the times they usually get.
I was hanging with the SRT's and the stage 2-3's were just ahead of me.

How did you get a 14 second run to fit in a 13 second video??? lol

Our cars are so slow that it takes us 14 seconds to run 13 seconds :whoa , LOL!
