4793, 1/4 time for 11psi
Posted by peter2.slow, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM
I was wondering what people are getting at 11 psi, on a GS. I ran a 15.8 at 89mph N/A. I have 18'' wheels with street tires BTW.

Ask away at what you want to know about my setup. I really would like a high 13 sec. but I don't want to get my hopes up.

You're running a 1:1 regulator? What is your static fuel pressure? You should search the turbo section about problems people have had leaning too much with thier AFCs. Leaning the MAP signal causes our ECUs to advance the timing and people have blown their shit up because of it. You may want to look into getting something like a SFMU to control the fuel pressure curve with a bit less dependance on the AFC. Just a thought.

Theres no mention of upgraded pistons/rods. 11 pounds on that turbo is going to be bad news to your ringlands if you don't tune it right.

If you can manage to "fine-tune" it well enough then you should be able to get into the 14s easily with 11 pounds. High 13s are going to depend alot more on the launch and temperature - I think it may be doable but you might have to crank up the boost a bit to get there. Its a nice big turbo and a nice big FMIC.

Just to clarify, how do you have a 2.5" downpipe but a 3" turboback?

LOL!

turbo back = downpipe, testpipe/cat, and testpipe/cat back

Therefore 2.5 inch downpipe and 3 inch turbo back doesnt add up I think is what he was trying to say.

you have a 2.5 inch downpipe then 3 inch from the downpipe on?

Yes that is what I am trying to say, thank you black magic. My wastegate flange is only 2.5'' so I can't go that much larger or I would. The only restriction exhaust wise is a muffler so to be technical yes 2.5'' DP to a 3'' Downpipe back exhaust

What all was done to it when you ran that time N/A?
