thanks taproot ... i didnt do as well as i had hoped but than again this was first time running at the track and its alot different than any street launch ... so here we go ... first run was the best of the 2 runs i had .. the tree went down and i didnt get the launch i wanted

Auto? What mods did you have? Your times were better then mine when I was non-turbo and went to the track. I had like final drive mod, catback and intake. I think the best time I ever pulled off in the 1/8th was a 11.3 cause there is no quarter mile around here. Wasn't quite like that with boost =). With boost on 3 psi I pulled off a 10.3. On 10 psi i hit a 9.5 so that wasn't bad at all. But my 60 ft times are the suckness. 2.6 was the best all night i think. Pulling like the same trap times as the guys getting 8's sucks. I got like a 81 trap.

I know launching with the auto is problematic, but keep practicing and you'll get there! I know it!

Bleh... all we have here in a 1/8th. I ran a few times last summer. I have a 95 GS, auto and the quickest I ran was 11.9 but I was bone stock...with a car full of shit.

Can't wait to get to the track myself this summer. Some more work to do, but we'll get there I'm sure. :thumbsup

thanks dr !! i was hoping to do a smig better i wanted thuras auto na record of 16.7 but with practice i could squeeze something along those lines ... i have some more pwr coming my way so with the addition of t/b ...ported and polished intake mani ... headers and high flow ill hopefully do better

You will get 16.7 before the summer is over for sure.

hmm.. i didn't realize the auto made u guys that much slowerthan us 5-speed guys. I ran a 16.4 w/ right around stock HP/TQ numbers (8.6 compression, short ram, muffler) and I was disappointed. Really didn't get a good run (bad launch first time, then on my best run I missed 3rd gear).

16.8 manual stock

18 - 18.5 auto stock

ive shaved off a full second with bolt ons and weight reduction and bad suspension... and as for manuals ive beaten my share

also i would like to state that running my 14's wasnt the best idea ... the wheel hop i got didnt help to much .. im gonna run my 17's next they have kumhos on them maybe the better tires will help the hole shot

i have cai/header back exhaust 2.25"/header/udp...i am also auto what do u think i will run with this?

oh i am also going to get a race head port, wet kit, p&p intake manifold, prolly a 55mm tb (maybe 60) lol but thats not till later

give or take around the same .. my biggest help was my weight .. if i were anything around stock i would have hit 17.5 .. honestly there is no way u can tell what your going to run .. i thought i might hit 16's and it didnt happen .. so i would say somewhere in the mid to low 17's .... not the best times but when u think about what we are .. it aint to bad

I'm gonna have to bust out my slips. If I get my UDP on before SAT, I should be in the high 9's. It'll only get better when I get my ported manifold on. My last run was a 10.12 at 71.67. I think I've pulled a couple of 10 flats and trapped at 73-74. Im able to run with a few gsts until i shift into 2nd gear.....lol

wait till 3rd gear comes..lmao

my next run is on july 8th so lets hope for the best also .. im going with my new t/b on and high flow
