This post is about your local 1/4 mile track you go to. What kind of schedule do they have for T&T or similar? Last year, I had wed night (street wars, 1/4), and fri night was T&T (1/4). I just got the new schedule for that track. Wed night is still street wars (1/4), but now you only get to run 2 times (times trial) before eliminations (ghey). And on friday (2 runs before eliminations), you race 1/8 mile. WTF?! I hate 1/8 mile racing. I think its a waste. They have something on Sat also, but its every friggin catagory possible and you still only get to run 2 times before eliminations. So now the only time I can go is on Wed night and I cant even stay for the whole thing because I work nights. AH! Cant they just open the track and just run your car to get your times? I need to find a new track to go to imo. (end vent)

^ That was for the track I always go to, its the nicest track within reasonable driving distance around here but has a slight incline at the end. Theres another one about 1 1/2 hrs away (not that great) and another one about 50min away I havent been to yet. Norwalk is approx 2 - 2 1/2 hrs away which I think is a little far to go racing at.



New/More Mods Comming... New 1/4 Times In March/April

Haha, Quaker City sucks. We're lucky enough to have two tracks down here within an hour of me. One does T&T on friday nights (5-10) and the other has T&T on Saturday either 1-5 or or 4-9 (no lights). On eis a lot nicer than the other, but I can usually get as many runs as I want at the Saturday track. When I had my Eclipse, I wasn't uncommon to get 15+ runs in and still leave before they closed.

move to portland oregon.. hehe..

two tracks within 30 minutes of each other.. one being just a dedicated 1/4 drag strip (woodburn drag strip, sticky track too).. and they always run 1/4 I beleive.. ever wednesday is bracket racing with 3 test runs before racing begins.
and there are lots of other days of just plain heads up 1/4 racing

and PIR being an actual road race course.. with a front straight that is ALSO a 1/4 drag strip :) they run 1/4's most of the time and every friday night and saturday night is street legal grudge matching from 7PM to 1AM I think. although i've been told PIR isn't nearly as stick BECAUSE they do all the street legal drags there.. while woodburn is a prepped track that does run NHRA top fuel and all that.

drag racing galore.

the only track around here is a 1/8 mile track with is in good shape but i wish there was a 1/4 around here. i live in the state of iowa and it sucks. the only 1/4 around here i think is cordova witch is 3 hours away. also the only night to run is friday and no telling how many people are going to race you might only get one or two runs in for 20.00 bucks and that sucks.
