Just curious what the mtx people do when racing...

i tested this out a few times at the track....with the launches being reletively equal, all other things being equal as well...i found that keeping the throttle nailed to the floor and speed shifting only made the times slower...ran several 16.0x runs with lifting, then with the throttle down could only muster a 16.2x BEST....so its deffinatly faster to lift the pedal....

Yup because you bounce off the rev limiter if you don't and the ECU pulls timing fuel etc. and it takes time to compensate when you are back in gear.

I NEVER lift to shift. If you hit the rev limiter, you are shifting too slow.
