Ok i got a 96 nt eclipse manual tranny with just a cai, my friend has a 01 dodge neon with a cai automatic, now i've already been told im gonna lose to him do to Weight issues???? well exactly how much more weight will i have to lose to beat him......... already took out subwoofer, spare tire, backseat, pass seat.... what else needs to go????????

about 300 pounds

you might beat him since he's auto and auto trannies are heavier than 5speed

ok what specifically can i do, get a carbon fiber hood i already kno, what can i take out?

haha if hes a auto and you dont suck to bad at driving u can beat him my freind got a 00' neon and manul we are the same...

door panels, carpet, passengers seat, headliner, scrape off the sound deadener on the floor, all trunk panels, rear seat side panels, windshild wiper fluid resivior, center console.

going to extremes...dashboard and a/c and p/s equipment

i just helpe justin99rs strip most (well...almost ALL) of his interior the other day. he did most of the work (because i wasnt there), but i think with both of us working together we could have had the car totally stripped (minus the dash) in under 2 hours easily.

edit....just noticed you said you took out the passengers seat. my bad. ;)

i wouldnt gut my car if i was you. i just dont think that small amount of weight is worth having the whole interior ripped apart. if its a daily driver that is*

Dude,if you dont suck at driving stick i dont know how you can loose to a auto 00 auto neon.The sxt neons have around 130ish hp.
