I have a manual 99 rs with basic boltons. will I beat the honda?

oh yea maybe u could have a chance if you're only running 1/8 mile... if u have great driving skillz that manual transmission will come in handy for early and faster acceleration

I would say yes but it would be pretty damn close if you do. My wifes friend has one and it isnt all that fast from the get go. Once it gets going though it can move. If it were manual I would say hell no but with a AT I say you have a good chance if hes stock. But I still wouldnt race for paychecks.

my neighbor has a 1999 or 2000 v6 accord auto and I've driven it, felt slow as molasses starting out but on the freeway had really good pickup. (SO quiet too - loved that!) Of course I didn't race it b/c it was my neighbors, but I got a semi-feel for it.

I just ask b/c he's auto, much heavier, and well it's a honda. he has no mods. well maybe his altezzas give 3hp.

I wouldn't recommend betting checks either, unless you only make ten bucks a week. By the sound of it, this guy either has something that you don't know about, or he's going to be in for a surprise because I think an RS 5-speed could take him. Give him hell dude and tell us how it goes. :thumbsup

a barely modded RS can NOT take a v6 accord, especially if it's the coupe one.
